Today, harmful and destructive behaviors directed by one employee against other employees are common in the workplace. Among the deviant interpersonal behaviors is Backstabbing; covert Backstabbing behaviors include actions that are carried out in the absence of the target person and are accompanied by the assassination of the victim's personality. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting the immersion of salespeople in the sales unit. The present study is a qualitative research in terms of method, an exploratory research in terms of approach, an interpretive research in terms of paradigm, an applied research in terms of objective, and a content analysis in terms of analysis. The statistical population of this study is 13 salespeople and experts in the food distribution industry with more than 8 years of relevant work experience who have experienced Backstabbing in the sales unit. A snowball strategy was used to select participants in the study, and interviews were conducted with 13 salespeople and experts in the sales unit following the theoretical saturation law. The data collection tool is a semi-structured in-depth interview. To examine the validity and reliability of the present study, the participant feedback method and the reliability method were used. The analysis of the interviews led to the identification of 12 overarching categories, which are 12 overarching themes, 34 organizing themes, and 101 sub-themes were identified in the data analysis process.
