Designing a strategic model of outsourcing in Iran's pharmaceutical industry based on the foundational data theory

Abstract
One of the characteristics of the present era is its rapid changes. These changes have a direct impact on people's lifestyles and lead to the emergence of new demands. Pharmaceutical companies are constantly revising their business strategies to meet the many challenges ahead and compete in the market. Outsourcing is a popular method for pharmaceutical companies to increase operational efficiency, expand geographic presence and increase profitability. The current research has been carried out with the aim of designing a strategic outsourcing model in Iran's pharmaceutical industry. The qualitative research method is based on foundational data theorizing. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect information, and data analysis was done using the Strauss and Corbin method and the paradigm model. Sampling was done theoretically and with the benefit of targeted (judgmental) and snowball (chain) techniques, based on which 18 interviews were conducted with knowledgeable professors and experts in the field of business management, business, economics, and pharmaceutical industry experts. The country was implemented. The results of the analysis of the data obtained from the interviews during the process of open, central and selective coding and using the Maxqda 2018 software to create a strategic model of outsourcing in the pharmaceutical industry based on the foundation's data theory including 6 main dimensions, 46 sub-dimensions and 119 characteristics of the concept resulted.
